GFDL
All material posted on on NOTE Wiki is, by virtue of its being posted, released under the GNU Free Document License (hereby referred to as GFDL).
GFDL is a "copyleft" license which allows for the dissemination of information as free. Any information licensed under GFDL is free to copy and redistribute as desired with the stipulation that all derivative works must also be free.
Witholding copyright
No editor may withold copyright to material he posts. If previously copyrighted material is posted and not released as stated above, it must be immediately removed. If uncopyrighted material is posted it is immediately released under GFDL and cannot be copyrighted later. All editors have the right to edit the contributions of all other editors.
Copyright and reproduction
Copyrighted information cannot be uploaded to NOTE Wiki. Copyrighted sources can be referred to but not reproduced. Information that is not copyrighted, that is in the public domain, or that is licensed under a "free" license such as GFDL or Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike License may be posted.
Information from NOTE Wiki can be reproduced without the consent of the NOTE administrators provided that all copies are either a) intended solely for private, personal use, or b) licensed under the GFDL. All derivative works, whether personal or private, must be licensed under the GFDL.
Fair use images
It is believed that, under the Fair Use doctrine, some copyrighted images may be used in conjunction with the GFDL, provided that these images do not in any way impede or affect the livelihood of the owner of said images.
